Is there a discount for orders of 10 or more different sheets of marbled paper?

Unfortunately we cannot offer discounts for this type of order, but we add a freebie to the order to compensate for the shipping fees.

Is there a discount for ordering large quantities of marbled paper?

We are glad to offer discounts for ordering larger quantities of each design. Please email us with your requirements and we will provide you with a price list.

Can I stock your marbled papers in my shop or online web-shop?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We offer a trade discount to those selling our sheets. Please contact us for our current Trade Price List. Minimum order quantities apply.

What paper stock do you use?

Accepted Answer

The majority of papers are marbled onto an acid-free, archival, 120gr, long grain paper. 
Paper size is 19,6"x27,5 (50cm x 70cm). We do also use coloured base paper. If your project requires other colours / weights / grains, we will be happy to accomodate your requirements, but the cost per sheet will be a little bit higher.

Are marbled papers coated with anything?

No. We use acrylic paint for its permanence and colour brightness. However, we recommend keeping our papers away from humidity and water where possible to avoid warping or bubbling.

Can you create a bespoke design?

Yes. We work on special commissions so please get in touch with us to explain your requirements and we will provide quotations on request for this special service.

How long does it take to make a bespoke project?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the kind of project; for small projects the order will be prepared within 21 days unless otherwise specified.

Question 8

Why does Moiré and overmarbled patterns cost more?

Accepted Answer

These patterns involve special procedures. Moiré is created by folding accurately the paper in squares and then flatting it out before printing, whereas in the Overmarbled the whole marbling process is performed twice (or more). Due to these factors the time taken to create them is longer and the cost is higher.

Can I reproduce one of your marbled designs?

All designs produced by Papiers Prina are protected by copyright and cannot be reproduced without license. Please email us to ask for a licence and discuss your requirements.

How are your products dispatched and sent?

Accepted Answer

Most of the time we use BPost, UPS or Mondial Relay, and our website offers the most economical and rapid shipping method depending upon the delivery destination and the weight and size of the parcel being sent. However, you can choose your preferred shipping method at checkout. We can also use alternatives upon request. 
Our papers are typically sent rolled inside a postal tube; our products are sent inside sturdy cardboard boxes.

Why is my country not included in your list of shipping zones?

Unfortunately, at the moment, online purchases can be made in Europe, US, Russia and Turkey only. Please, contact us if you want to make a purchase from our site and your country is not yet on our list.

Can I visit your studio?

Unfortunately we are not able to accommodate studio visits at the moment.
